Dear Diary,

    The date above is the upload of my “I Believe in Jesus Christ” video to YouTube. It was around this time after mommy’s funeral I began to hear the lady singing again. She gave me the first two lines and I made that the first verse.

    Some days after, while staying by Aunty Zida’s, she gave me the chorus. I decided to take the entire melody and arrange it for a full steelband. When I did this, it felt right and it was amazing to me. I just panic that the music would not be good enough.

    Seeing that it was a YouTube video, I wanted to make a painting with Jesus. I still did not want to take one online. I had rather make my version of it.
